CYFD's Juvenile Justice Services division (JJS) serves troubled youth and their families through transition services, community corrections and probation and parole services, reintegration facilities and secure facilities. Each year the Department serves about 15,000 youth through probation and parole (field) services, about 235 in secure facilities, and about 28 in reintegration facilities. On an average day the Department has about 4,500 clients under its supervision.
