Child Care Services Suits Up to Fight Heart Disease

On Feb. 5, CYFD Child Care Services Bureau joined the American Heart Association’s fight against heart disease by hosting a "Go RED for Women Day." Office staff statewide was encouraged to wear red to work to support and raise awareness for the fight against the #1 killer of women – as well as of men – heart disease. Wear Red Day was a chance for employees to gain knowledge about this devastating disease and informational risk factor sheets were posted throughout the offices.
