Albuquerque JPO Staff Chips In to Provide Halloween Treats

ALBUQUERQUE -- Staff members at CYFD's Juvenile Probation Office (JPO) in Albuquerque hosted a project that involved the donation of Halloween candy, and putting bags together for different local organizations. JPO staff were asked to bring in at least four bags of candy per unit and then volunteers put them together in individual bags. In total, over 150 bags of candy were donated to the following organizations:

• Ronald McDonald House
• Casa Esperanza
• New Day Shelter
• Amistad Shelter
• Joy Junction

All of the donations were well received and for some organizations, the candy bags were the only candy they were able to provide for the children they serve due to funding restraints.
